Mprise Agriware in Hillenraad Tech50
On Thursday, October 28, the Hillenraad TECH50 was announced. Hillenraad periodically publishes a report, this year being the Hillenraad TECH50. The TECH50 lists "the 50 most remarkable and promising enterprises in horticultural technology and technology across the 10 most important domains."
These technology domains range from 'light & led' to 'greenhouse technology', 'sensing & data collecting', 'data science', 'vertical farming'... to 'platforms'. For each category, the top 5 companies were selected and awarded stars.
Joop de Jong, CEO of Mprise, said: "We are proud that Mprise Agriware, ranks among the top 5 in the 'platforms' category, securing a joint 2nd place in this category! This provides a tremendous boost to all our employees to continue on the path we have taken."
To make the broad concept of horticultural technology more comprehensible, the TECH50 research team divided it into ten domains. Within each domain, five Dutch companies are ranked based on a star classification. The assessment is based on a careful comparison of several business factors, such as growth potential, innovative and/or disruptive technology, technology as a business model, and substantial R&D investments. The opinions of a peer group of experts from the sector and insights from the creators themselves were also considered. Research was conducted on over 280 companies: established enterprises, scale-ups, and startups.
It is noteworthy that Mprise Agriware is among the top 5 suppliers of various software platforms and is the only company in this group with a comprehensive ERP software solution for the sector.
